Open three nights a week to satisfy all your swank lounge and dance needs.  Cameo, (from the men behind both Mantus in Dallas, and Fort Worth’s Vice), is the latest occupant of the below-ground cave (next-to-Neiman's) that was formerly Dolce. 

Guarded by a wooden door that could've been ripped from medieval times, Cameo boasts downtown's only small-yet-up-scale dance floor, a 500sqft sunken concrete square sitting under a ceiling decked with hundreds of dangling crystals and a disco ball refracting the lasers by super-rare 24kt-plated Technics; decked with exotic wood, gold-plated tile, and mother of pearl detailing.  The surrounding jungle includes two bars, a grip of bottle-serviced lounge booths and, most impressively, a VIP area with a petrified-wood-paneled faux fireplace.  A plexiglass floor covering an LED-lit water jet pool, lets you can walk on water. 

Tunes're a mash of club/Top 40/hip hop, w/ Fri spun by DJ Rev and Thurs/Sat paced by DJ D-Roz, who's won Big-D's-top-DJ awards two years running; guest DJs every other Thursday as well.
