For those who may have forgotten, CityPark is still alive and well in Downtown’s Central Business District. Park for just $1/hr during the regular business day, and $2/flat after 5:00pm and on weekends. Four garages in the Main Street District participate, all within walking distance of hot spots like Neiman Marcus, Dallas Fish Market, City Tavern and Urban Market. Look for the bright blue and yellow signs!

With the opening of the AT&T Performing Arts center opening, the vision for the Dallas Arts District is almost complete – including the highly anticipated reopening of Flora Street, connecting the Arts venues to destinations like One Arts Plaza. Though, ladies, fret no longer over wearing those stilettos to a Broadway show, the One Arts Plaza Art Cart will now come to your rescue! Take the cart from any Arts District venue down to Dali, Jorges, Screen Door, Fedora or Tei An for that post-show nosh.

Ever wonder as you speed by Victory Park on I-35 where that red, white and blue train is headed? It’s the Trinity Railway Express, linking Downtown Dallas to Downtown Fort Worth and DFW Airport! So here’s the challenge, make a trip out of it, get the family on board and explore the region! Or solve that quandary of who owes you a ride out to the airport and jump on for less than 5 bucks.
